Instructions

All.

We seem to miss a lot of great weather in September due to scheduling at the House.
This year I'd propose a Tour to Wiltshire.

We have a weekend, Sat 11th, Sun 12th free and I have filled it with the following fixtures.
Sat 11th Avebury Cricket Club.
Start time and format tbc. Will reflect the journey.
I'd suggest that people get there mid morning as the stones are wonderful for a walk and village is lovely.
Their ground is next to the stones which are open to walkers and hippies all year round.
They have a new pavilion and huge BBQ with the ability and expertise to cater.
There is also a lot of space for children and dogs with many picnic tables for comfort.
Standard; A good game for a mix of our 1st and AXI. Leaning toward AXI.

Saturday night in Marlborough.
I will hopefully have my new house ready and will host drinks and vinyl. Ross and I may even do a guitar duet (Ross, is that Ok?)

Hotels in Marlborough
There are a few decent pub types, not quite the boutique hotel place you would expect if I am honest. Sorry Mr Secretary/AXI Capt.
There is a Travel Lodge for those who like functionality and certainty.
I will speak to the locals for a recommended list.

Sunday.
Army Masters - Tidworth Army cricket ground.
Start 1130/12 noon
40 overs
Format and start time are flexible but will be set to allow a good amount of time to return home.
Some know this ground from a couple of years back.
They can host a BBQ as well.
The ground is next to woods for dogs and children. Lots of space.
Standard; A mix between 1st and AXI. Leaning toward 1st.

Driving; Closer than Wales.
Trains; Many - Swindon, Bedwyn, Pewsey. All into Paddington. Andover is close to Tidworth into Waterloo.
Taxis; Dave Brown - Veteran and top bloke. Has a fleet and all trips will be on the meter. Hopefully we will have enough cars. I will have two and can lend one to someone (responsible and over 25) if required.

Tour fines and presentations.

End Ex and Starburst.
