Match called off due to bad weather

MOOSE won the toss and elected to bat, captains agreed to play a 40 over game due to the forecast.

Weather conditions: Grey and gloomy - Slight drizzle and then a shower!

Brilliant opening spell from M Roberts ( 6 -0 -14) and P Narasiman (5-1-22). P Narasiman got the first scalp in his debut for HAC before rain intervened.

Excellent traditional tea, courtesy of Lisa Noel - Tea Caterer, thanks Neil Runkel for the logistics. The traditional tea served with tea and coffee was a hit with the players and the Club secretary!

We were hope full to resume play but the rain continued and game was called at 15:00.

Highlight of the day - afternoon was utilised to assemble and sort out our new storage shed donated to the club by Neil Runkel.

Shame the game got called off, we was expecting a repeat performance of last year and put the Moose to the sword.
