Brilliant batting from Lojhan (73) and Parry (115) who dispatched the LNZ bowling to all parts. Backed up by a cameo (71*) from Casey.
322 on the board form 45 overs seemed like a daunting challenge for LNZ.

A fantastic Jerk chicken BBQ tea, loving made by Christine, was enjoyed by all.

The HAC bowling tore through the top of LNZ batting. Borton offered pace, Dada and Faj bowled with accuracy and guile.
A good 8th wicket partnership of 107 from the LNZ boys, threatened to spoil an otherwise perfect display. However, we persisted in the hot conditions and took our catches very well - bowling LNZ out for 226 - to win by 96 runs.

A fine victory and great way to start the season.
