Superior Jesters team (in numbers and quality) sees HAC off by 8 wickets

A nine man HAC team batted first against a Jesters outfit that gave little quarter. With the openers dismissed cheaply, Casey (61) and Faj(31) threatened to make hay before being dismissed. Haines (37no), debutant Venkataramana and Yankson held the tail together to post near 200, not nearly enough on a flat deck and short of fielders.

Our bowling quickly reverted to spin and Runkel and Faj pisked up a wicket apiece but could not stop the inevitable as their no.1 recorded a century and Jesters swept to victory by 8 wickets.
