I learnt my trade at St Joseph’s College in Ipswich and then joined East Bergholt Cricket Club where I have played since a teenager.

From the age of 17 to early 30s I was always a medium paced in-swing bowler for the 1st team that batted lower down the order – career highlight for the 1s being 8-32.

I now run our second team (I am in my early 40s) and bowl off a few paces, giving it a good whack at about 6 or 7 - career highlight being my first ton last year.
