For all new players:
The HAC has a long and distinguished history, with cricket recorded as being played at the ground as far back as 1725! The HAC currently run three sides: 1XI who play mainly on Sundays, an AXI who play games on Saturdays and a Squadrons XI who have matches on Monday evenings.
We like to play games in a friendly atmosphere and try to give everyone who plays the opportunity to either bat, bowl or keep, however, when we take the field, we play to win. There is a very strong list of players here and most of us have either played to a high standard currently or in the past. I, therefore, expect us to be competitive in most games, but as I said, the emphasis is more social than anything else.
For those that haven’t played before, please don’t expect gritty Saturday league cricket. This is friendly social cricket, more akin to an MCC type game, without all the ties.

New recruits
We are always on the lookout for good cricketers to play with us at the HAC and welcome any referrals or introductions. Please cc Ed Haines and Liam Casey into an introductory email with the new player. Thank you.

Sponsorship
We are actively looking for sponsorship. If you know of any interested parties, let us know and we can setup a meeting / discuss terms and incentives.

Our Tricentenary 1725 - 2025
It will be 300 years since the first game of cricket at the HAC in 2025... If you have any suggestion or recommendations for this celebration please let us know your thoughts.
